All I can say about All Balls bearings is, QUALITY, QUALITY, QUALITY!
Changing the wheel bearings in a GL1200 isn't any easy project, plan of an all day affair.
To change the front bearings get your bike up on the center stand and use some sort of jack to get the front wheel up, to where you can work on it. Remove the front wheel and pop out the seals with an screwdriver.
Take the front wheel to your local machine shop and let them punch out the old bearings and press in the new ones, as well as the seals. "DO NOT TRY TO USE A HAMMER TO PRESS IN YOUR NEW BEARINGS"! Once your back home reinstall the front wheel. Now your ready for the rear.

Replacing the rear wheel bearings is some what tougher then the front. We strongly suggest using the best bearings, "ALL BALLS"! You don't what to have to do this task more than once.
To remove your rear wheel, place your bike on the center stand on top of a piece of 2X6. Remove the rear lower shock bolts and let your rear wheel drop down, remove the left saddle bag and claiper. Remove the axle and the wheel should pull out from the left side. Pop out your seals and take the sheel to your local machine shop to get the old bearing removed and the new one pressed in. "DO NOT TRY TO USE A HAMMER TO PRESS IN YOUR NEW BEARINGS"! Once your back to the shop replace your rear wheel.
We can't tell you how important it is to press in the new bearing. Pounding them in will damage your new bearings, each time you strike the bearings your causing small dents in the harden steel balls. Which will, at some point cause the bearing to fail and this could lead to a nasty accident at 65 MPH, and who wants that!
