Our Yuasa battery arrived this afternoon! Let me say this is a top notch product!!!! I will buy an Yuasa battery for my other bikes as well, I am impressed at the workmanship of the product, THUMBS UP on this one.

Well we unpacked the battery and read the paper work, this is important, read the setup instructions!!!! After we finished our daily reading, we opened the acid and installed it in the battery. What a great idea Yuasa has for this, the acid came in a six tube package, pull the plastic strip of caps off the acid, "DO NOT TAKE THE SILVER FOIL OFF THE ACID PACKAGE". Once you take the plastic cover off turn the acid package upside down and press it into place on top of the battery, for 20 minutes, it actually took about 7 minuites but Yusas recommends 20 minutes to get each drop. After you get the acid into the battery, remove the acid package and properly place it into the trash. Then take the plastic strip of caps from the acid package and seal the top of the battery.

Place your new Yuasa batter on a trickle charger and charge for about 24 hours or till fully charge. I do suggest a trickle charger for a motorcycle, not a 12 volt charger for a automobile. Motorcycle batteries need to be trickled charged, charging them to quickley will burn them out.

This is the only fully sealed battery I know of. If you have to replace your current battery I strongly suggest the Yuasa, and hey they are made in the USA!

Thanks to the guys at Yuasa for designing a battery that don't leak acid all over my chrome! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

We will have more on the performance of this battery once we get it charged and installed.
