Thanks to Larry at DP Brakes and Clutches for their Brake Pads!

There is alot of different types of brake pads out there. I've always used what the local dealer sold. After contacting Larry at DR Brakes and he sent us a complete set of sinsered brake pads, which we installed. With the weight of our goldwing, my wife and I, pulling our trailer, I have never been able to stop so quickly. I used to have to keep a sharp eye out for other drivers suddenly stopping and I have actually rode right through because I couldn't stop that suddenly. I don't have any tech data, but I'll swear I can stop 100 - 150 feet sooner "fully loaded" with DP brake pads than other I have used.

Riding solo I have noticed that the the bike will stop much much quicker. I have to adjust my riding to these new brake pads, these pads just have better stopping power.

It will soon be time to replace the clutch, I think I'll us DP for that as well.

The brake pads are designed for the front and rear as well, "each set has a different part number", unlike other pads DP actually makes pads for the front and rear of the goldwing. I have not seen this from other manfactures!

After spending all summer riding, and putting the GL1200 through all the paces. DP Brakes are truely top quality brake pads. We rode over 9000 miles since we installed the pads last spring. And we can say the rear pads are still at 75%, while the front pads are 98%. Our rotors show little to no wear, I expected to see more rotor wear with the sinistered pads.
